Diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in January 2011

Achieved remission in late March 2012, after two stem cell transplants

Walked the 2012 5K on Friday night!
Leukemia relapsed in June 2012 and Joe lost his battle on October 13, 2012.
We will forever be Joe's Pacers.

At Illinois both the full marathoners and half marathoners run with the same pace leaders!
