Why do you run?
My wife loves running and started running marathons a few years back. I joined her to spend more time with her and then developed my passion for running as well. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
I ran my first official marathon in Carmel Indiana. The weather was on the chilly side for an April day and it snowed in the beginning of the race and a little bit in the middle of the race. I ran with the 3:20 pacing group and was able to achieve my goal of breaking 3:30. I had leg cramps for the last 2 miles, but was able to push myself through to the finish line with an overall negative split. |
Why do you pace?
To give back to the running community and meet new people. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
My first pacing experience with Schaumburg Turkey Trot half marathon. My fellow pacer for the 1:55 finish time was an energetic experienced pacer. She was cheering up the runners in our pacer group throughout the race and the whole group crossed the finish line holding hands together. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I run at an even-split steady pace. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
