Why do you run?
|
Despite all the health benefits it brings to me, it is the people I have meet on this great adventure, called running. I am continuously amazed at the impact my Galloway family, near and far, has brought to my life. |

Describe your best marathon memory.
|
Every marathon I have run brings me a favorite memory! Every person I meet along the way, influences my life. I can’t imagine my life without all those wonderful people! |

Why do you pace?
|
It is very rewarding! I love empowering folks, whether it is their 1st marathon or 100th marathon! |

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Last year in Space Coast, was a great time. The majority of my group were able to run ahead of me about mile 24 and finished strong. Without my consistent pacing and walk breaks, I don’t think they could have done that. |

I have paced all seven years for the 26.2 with Donna marathons. Had my first DNF last year when the race was canceled when we were at mile 19 because of lightening. It was a huge disappointment for all the runners in my pace group, but you can’t mess with mother nature. I will be there this year to get those same runners across the finish line, just a year later!
