A quotation you like…

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

Why do you run?

To maintain my health. Bring awareness to my community. I LOVE to run.  I feel closest to God when I run.

Describe your best marathon memory.

My first time crossing the finish line and pacing some of my friends helping them reach their PR goals.

Why do you pace?

It’s very rewarding for me to help others with their racing PR goals.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I recently paced the Soaring Wings Half Marathon in Arkansas and was able to assist many runners reach and surpass their PR goals.  I was able to travel from the front to the back of the pack and tried my best to encourage everyone in our group.  It felt great seeing so many runners excited about their finish times and this is what has me wanting to experience this more and more.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

They will get the push they need when its easy and most of all when its not.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Start your hydration way before race day. Stay hydrated during the race. Relax, and most of all, have fun.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Never let anyone tell you that you cannot accomplish your goal.
