A quotation you like…

“Do you want a piece of me? Or do you want the whole thing?”

Why do you run?

To many reasons to list

Describe your best marathon memory.

My 1st Marathon – Miami – 2014.  My parents flew into town to watch.

Why do you pace?

Love connecting with people and help support them to attain their goals

Tell us your best pacing experience.

At the 2018 Miami Marathon I helped pace the 6hr group.  Connecting with a first timer (Laura) to help and support here to finish.  She messaged me a few days after the race and this is what she said and I quote, “Mike, it was a true gift to meet you.  I am somewhat of a spiritual person and there was a moment during the race when you said, I’ll block the wind….that was so special to me and represented what God does at times….I actually think he was acting through you to get to me….also reinforced the concept to me that at the end you can’t really do any great thing alone….you need people and that makes a huge difference and lastly eventhough my family was in Mexico (husband and 8 yr old) and my mother in law and 2 yr old didn’t make it to see me due to traffic…I realized we are never alone…we always have God and amazing people around us.  It meant a lot that you waited for me at the finish line when I realized I couldn’t finish with the 6 hr group.  I only share my personal experience with you to make sure you know what you do is amazing and makes a difference.  Thank you Mike…the pacer you were the highlight of my race”

That’s why I love to Pace!
