Who do you train with?

 I train with the Epic Crew a facebook running club from Kalamazoo MI.

Personal goals

Trying to run a half in the 1:30's this fall. Also to run a half every month this year.

Even if you don’t feel like it, just get out and do it. You will feel better after.

Why do you run?

I run to be healthy. Five years ago I had gastric bypass surgery. I want to be as healthy as I can and running makes me feel healthy.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Last year was Kalamazoo, MI first marathon and our run group had 50 people running it plus running in your home town and seeing people you know everywhere you went made for a great running experience.

Why do you pace?

I love to help people reach their goal and it is also fun to meet new people.



Why should someone run in your pace group?

I like seeing people at the end when they reach their goals. It is nice to know you may have helped them reach it.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Train hard and do things right in your training and enjoy race day. Race day needs to be fun that is what you are working so hard for enjoy it.

Anything else youd like to share?

This is one of my favorite race to run tons of crowd support and great course lets all enjoy it.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

Running a charity half marathon for our run group this summer. We have a family trust through the Kalamazoo foundation.
