Why do you run?

Sense of freedom and the feeling of progress.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Seeing my friends and their young children with banners at mile 22.

Why do you pace?

I like to help others achieve their own personal goals to be the best they can be – it is the reason I teach and coach.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I am dedicated, supportive but driven to ensure you reach your goal.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Get a good night’s sleep, fuel up and leave the doubt and fear at the start line.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I have some terrible jokes which I enjoy sharing.

I am 6 foot 7 inches tall so you will have me to draft behind if it is windy!

What philanthropic activities do you have?

During Hurricane Harvey, as my school was closed, I volunteered for between 10 and 12 hours a day at a rescue center set up at another local school.
