Why do you run?
I run to get away from work and daily demands of life. It’s a way of meditation for me. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
My first marathon, the virtual Virgin Money London Marathon in 2020, where I ran with the local running team. |
Why do you pace?
I love running races and meeting new people. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
My first pacing experience with Deer Park half marathon was for 2:00 finish time. I finished in 1:58 and was glad to see a few runners in my pacing group pushing themselves to finish in a few minutes less than 2:00. A few runners gave kudos to me after the race. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
My typical pace is great for beginner marathon runners, and I can relate to them as my first marathon was only 2 years ago. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Focus on finishing one mile at a time. |
