A quotation you like…

Why do you run?

Because I can! I’m grateful that my body lets me, I know so many people who have ailments that prevent them from running. I love running with my Meetup group and my Hash group. Helps keep me from getting fat!

Describe your best marathon memory.

NYC marathon in 2013, beautiful day, exuberant crowds, lots of hilarious signs (This is a lot of trouble for a free banana! Worst. Parade. Ever. Etc)

Why do you pace?

I want to help other runners achieve their goal, enjoy meeting other pacers

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Grand Rapids 2010, I was part of Celebrity pace teams, each goal was a famous person’s time. I was team Oprah, the goal was 4:29.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I’ll keep it steady, we’ll walk through the water stops. I’ll build up a few minutes cushion early on so if we slow at the end we’ll still make our goal.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Don’t wear headphones, talk to people, that’s what it’s all about!

What philanthropic activities do you have?

Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Cleanup Lansing(litter pickup organization)
