Why do you run?


It is a challenge to always try and do better than the last time. 

Describe your best marathon memory.


During my first marathon I saw my wife and kids around mile 23.  I wasn’t sure I was going to make it but after I stopped for some quick hugs I found enough energy to get through that last 5k.

Why do you pace?


I like seeing other people reach their goals.  That initial moment of pure excitement and exhilaration is awesome to witness and it energizes me for my next race

Tell us your best pacing experience.


A young man at the Woodlands wanted to go sub 3:00 and when he did he came back and thanked me multiple times.  He was so determined and it was great to see him reach that goal.

Why should someone run in your pace group?


Meeting your goals with a group can prove to be far easier than going it alone.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?


Just relax, take deep breaths, stick with me until at least mile 20 and if you feel good at mile 22 by all means leave us behind
