Why do you run?

 

Health and well-being for myself, and I like to motivate others to do the same.  I helped my husband, and his co-worker train and complete their first half marathon in December 2015.

Qualifying for Boston Marathon at the Palm Beach Marathon in December 2009

 

 

 

 

Why should someone run in your pace group?

 

Because I enjoy helping others reach their goal on time.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

 

Set realistic expectations for race day based on what you have accomplished during your training plan.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Pacers are like landmarks in long distance events, they keep you aware of your progress and allow for adjustments along the way. 

What philanthropic activities do you have?

Donating used half marathon, marathon, and other long distance endurance events to children at joe dimaggio’s children’s hospital in Hollywood, FL as the Fort Lauderdale Chapter owner of Medals4Mettle.
