Fun, Freedom and Fitness

Describe your best marathon memory.

This might actually be my first trail marathon.  I ran with a couple friends, and we had the best time ever.  But more than that (as that’s typical for me), this was my introduction to trail running, and so I will never forget it.

Why do you pace?

It’s a fun way to contribute without missing out on the fun

Tell us your best pacing experience.

They’re all wonderful.  It’s truly a privilege to participate in such a high energy event without getting bogged down in the focus of pushing my own limits.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Running with a pace group takes the pacing burden off the individual runner.  It also forms a cluster of great conversation.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Bring a few good jokes with you!
