What are you reading now?

Honestly, too busy with work, kids, and training to read

Who do you train with?

I can get anyone to run a 5K with me.  I can get a couple of people to run a 10K with me.  When I mention running a half or full I am on my own.

Personal goals

I want to encourage people to jump out of their comfort zone and attack their fitness goals.

A quotation you like…

If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way.  If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.

-Jim Rohn

Why do you run?

Simple-  I love running!  You do what you love.

Describe your best marathon memory.

My brother ran the Boston Marathon in 2014 and I stood by as a spectator and cheerleader.  As he passed by I leaned over to my sister and stated, “You have to be crazy to think running 26.2 miles is fun!”  Three years later I ran a half marathon with my brother at the OneAmerica Mini Indy Marathon and then in that same year I ran my first full marathon.  The rest is history.

Why do you pace?

I love to encourage people to set fitness goals and achieve them.  The only thing more satisfying then crossing the finish line is watching the faces of a group of individuals that just spent several hours with you sweating and pushing themselves to achieve a personal record.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I will be there to encourage you the entire way.  If that requires some friendly words of encouragement, a high five, or a hug at the finish line I will be there for you.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

You need to set personal goals based on your fitness level.  This is your race, not your family or friends race. This is all about you and your personal goals.

If you are new to running with a pacer I will walk you through what to expect.
