A quotation you like…

"Pain temporary - it may last for a minute, or an hour, or a day, or even a year! But eventually it will subside, and something else will take it's place. But if I quit however, it will last forever." - Eric Thomas

"My body is the sword, but my mind is the blade." - Bruce Lee

Why do you run?

I run because it keeps my mind fresh, my body fit, and it makes me feel like I can own the world if it came to a fight

Describe your best marathon memory.

(Haven't done one yet - I'll just go on about my first half marathon) Crossing the finish line was all that it took for it to be worth it. Every second, every mile, every footstep, was worth it once the finish line was crossed. The feeling of joy was one of the best I have ever had.

Why do you pace?

A) It makes my Dad feel like he accomplished something with running, (helping someone else to discover something in their life that makes them happy, and that person sharing that with others), B) Because I want to help people achieve their goals

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I have only paced one half marathon, but it was the coolest experience getting my crew across the finish line. It wasn't that we were all runners with different stories to tell, it was like we were family. We sweat, we shared pain, and we helped each other continue to the finish. Coolest thing ever!

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because if they want to achieve a goal, then I am their man. Or young man. Which ever suits them better. I don't like to take the people who will break, because it only hurts my group to have a fellow runner or sister drop out. So plan on working every moment!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Plan on being pushed, working your guts out, and having one of the greatest memories of your life!

Anything else you’d like to share?

I play hard. So don't expect sweet and cuddley!! :)

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I (being a member of the LDS church) love to go to the Temple and serve my God there, I love to give volunteer work at any hospital, school, elderly care facility, or anywhere else that can take me.
