A
quotation you like…
|
“It gets easier. Every day it gets a little
easier. But you gotta do it every day. That’s the hard part. But it does get
easier.”
|
Why do
you run?
|
I run to relax. I sometimes spend all day
thinking and making decisions that it’s very calming to run and zone out for
hours at a time. I also love training for big races and constantly improving
my times.
|
Describe
your best marathon memory.
|
Finishing my first sub 4 hour marathon in Indianapolis with a
negative split. I paced calmly through the whole thing and had extra gas in
the tank to take off on the last two miles. I was flying so fast and passing
everyone, yelling about how I was headed for my first sub 4!
|
Why do
you pace?
|
I have benefitted from the pacers in every
race I have run and I want to give back to the running community and help
others reach their goals
|
Tell us
your best pacing experience.
|
None yet!
|
Why
should someone run in your pace group?
|
I have been living and running in Champaign, IL
for almost 5 years. I know the Illinois
half marathon course well and I can help you know exactly what to expect and
when to expect it!
|
Any tips
for runners about to join your group?
|
Get ready to chat with me about anything and
everything for 13.1 miles! And brush up on your Taylor Swift lyrics because I
like to party when I run.
