Why do you run?
I enjoy running because it is the feeling of freedom. As an 800m track athlete, I personally enjoy the duality of the event, having to focus summer and fall training around building aerobic fitness, while still getting to do high speed, more sprint-type workouts during the spring. |

Why do you pace?
I pace because I enjoy meeting people within the marathon community and they help inspire me in my own training. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
My favorite experience pacing was pacing an elite 800m runner for a workout several days before the Portland Track Festival and seeing the progress they had made during the year. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Because I like to make running fun by chatting during the run and usually have snacks with me. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Don’t worry about pacing or how fast you’re going, that’s my job. Focus on sticking with the group and having fun! |
