Personal goals

2010 Goal: To complete my 1st Ironman (7/31) & to complete my 1st 100 miler (9/11-9/12).







Why do you run?


It makes me happy to work towards & to complete things that other people wouldn't even attempt to do.



Describe your best marathon memory.


That would have to be the 4th marathon in a race called the Quadzilla...4 marathons in 4 days. I felt great & it was a wonderful way to bring in the 2010 New Year. It was Dec. 31st through Jan. 3rd.



Favorite pacing assignment?


I really enjoyed the Nike Woman's Marathon in 2010.



Why should someone run in your pace group?


They'll have their own personal cheerleader that will do everything they can to get them across the finish line in their goal time, hopefully with a smile on their face & lots of wonderful memories to hold on to.



Any tips for runners about to join your group?


Stay positive & enjoy your journey to the finish line.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I've been a member of Soroptimist Intl. for 17 years & am currently on the Board. I'm a volunteer Wish Maker for the Make A Wish Foundation & I'm also on the Modesto Marathon planning committee.
