A quotation you like… |
Work hard today for the betterment of yourself tomorrow. |
Why do you run?
I’m hooked. Trying to stay fit and continuing to work toward improving. Training for my first 50-miler too. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Finishing in Columbus with a PR and qualifying for Boston. Felt like all the work involved from never running more than a few miles a three years earlier to putting together a good race with the result I wanted. |
Why do you pace?
I love to run, I love to meet new people, and I have no problem talking. Having the opportunity to make new friends, help others achieve their goals, and have fun in the process are great reasons for me to pace. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
I have paced a few friends when they were running their first marathon or going for a PR and it’s great fun. When I’m able to help someone go out conservatively, run even splits, and accomplish what they set out to do I’m thrilled to be a part of that experience. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Running with a group will help keep you accountable to your goal time, and letting me worry about the pace will free you mentally from worrying about your splits. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Get ready to have some fun. Stay relaxed and we’ll reach the finish together. |
