Why do you pace?

 

Getting people to their marathon goals is just as satisfying to me as achieving my own.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

 

Seeing the enjoyment of a woman who I paced from start to finish at the 2012 Chicago Marathon.  Her excitement of a new PR and appreciation for the job our team did was a special experience.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

 

To have fun and achieve their running goals!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

 

I enjoy talking with people as I run. The time passes faster and you get to meet new people.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I occasionally run home from work which takes me from downtown Chicago to the western suburbs, 22 miles!

 

What philanthropic activities do you have?

 

Volunteer at autism and dementia awareness events.
