Running gives

Describe your best marathon memory.

At mile 21 in the Pittsburgh Marathon when I realized that I was on my way to a new PR. I knew the course well and knew how long it would take me to finish.

Why do you pace?

I like to meet people getting started in running and are doing their first race, or running further than they have before.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Seeing some of my group waiting for me at the finish line because they had gone ahead and beaten their goals.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because it isn’t just a group of people running at the same speed, it’s more like a mobile party!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Be prepared to be pushed. I like to see my running group finish faster than I do.
