What are you reading now?

I’m more of a podcast guy…Serial anyone?

Who do you train with?

Solo mostly, some local club runs

Personal goals

Run the Boston Marathon

A quotation you like…

“Do or do not, there is no try” - Yoda

Why do you run?

I love the challenge, the competition, and the camaraderie.  Plus, running keeps me healthy and sane.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Running the Chicago marathon in 2012 with my brother.  It was my first big city marathon, a perfect weather day,  and my brother and I ran together both setting PRs.

Why do you pace?

I want to give back to the running community and help others enjoy the sport.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Every time is great. There is something special about being part of a group with a common purpose.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

We will run even, run smart, finish at our goal, and have a fun time doing it.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

You can’t win the race in the first few miles, but you can lose it.  Let’s take it out easy, settle-in and most of all - enjoy the race!

Anything else you’d like to share?

I don’t think so.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I volunteer as a mentor for a group called Life Connectors which pairs underprivileged college students with local professionals.
