Why do you pace?
I love being a part of the race experience. I enjoy racing in general, but pacing has given me an opportunity to support others which is more gratifying in the end. It’s great to be part of a team of other great runners, too! |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
After the Detroit US Half, two young ladies approached me to thank me for helping support them through their first half marathon, and gave me a hug! |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Stay with a pacer and you won’t make the mistake of going out too fast. I will do my very best to make sure runners feel supported at all times, and finish at the goal time. Also, we will have fun! |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Enjoy the experience of the marathon/half marathon. Regardless of your finish time, it’s a tremendous accomplishment. I will keep the pace, so you can focus on your nutrition and hydration needs. |
