Describe your best marathon memory.
|
I will always remember my first one in 2013 fondly- How I registered it the night of my fun first 5k race. How excitedly I dashed out like a rabbit and made the first mile the fastest one of all 26 miles. How my family and friends cheered for me in Shadyside. How I enjoyed the energy of the spectators. How I bonked and walked and cried at mile 22. How proud when I finished with my loved one side by side. How I had to be assisted in and out of the car for the next week. How I could not stop talking about it for the next month…Ahhh. Beautiful first time!! |
