Why do you run?

To stay in shape, for competition, and to enjoy nature.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Crossing the walking bridge into Chattanooga, realizing I was about to complete my first marathon, and finding the energy to spring to the finish line.

Why do you pace?

I just enjoy running, and being able to help other runners reach their goals is an added bonus.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Having a runner came up to me immediately following a race and said, “You never saw me, but I wouldn’t have finished this race without you.”

Why should someone run in your pace group?

If they want to have an enjoyable run, and know they will meet or exceed their goal finish time.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

We will run even splits. Slower up the hills and faster coming down. I enjoying chatting with runners, or if need be, we can focus in and enjoy the sound the sound of feet on the pavement.
