A quotation you like…

Trust your training -

Why do you run?

Stay in shape, love running with Run Club because of the social aspects.

Describe your best marathon memory.

The 2007 Marine Corp marathon when my 18 year old daughter and 6 good friends all ran it together.

Why do you pace?

I enjoy helping others achieve their goals

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I’ve paced several people in Ultras to finish their first. The 2010 Ice Age was with a close friend who faced many obstacles (anxiety attach, sore muscles, etc) I just made her concentrate on following my footsteps to keep her focused. She finished right on schedule.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I try to keep it fun while still keep them focused on their form and goal.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Never pass up a water station. Stay well hydrated. It’ll be easy to catch up with the group.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Each marathon is as much about the journey, which is the training leading up to race day and race day, as it is about achieving the goal and crossing the finish line.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

Do several activities throughout the year for the local Food Pantry. Race Director for the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot where all the proceeds go to the food pantry. Do a summer Bar-B-Q for Operation Support our Troops.
