Tell us your best pacing experience.
I’ve paced several people in Ultras to finish their first. The 2010 Ice Age was with a close friend who faced many obstacles (anxiety attach, sore muscles, etc) I just made her concentrate on following my footsteps to keep her focused. She finished right on schedule. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I try to keep it fun while still keep them focused on their form and goal. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Never pass up a water station. Stay well hydrated. It’ll be easy to catch up with the group. |
Anything else you’d like to share? |
Each marathon is as much about the journey, which is the training leading up to race day and race day, as it is about achieving the goal and crossing the finish line.
