Who do you train with?

I run at all times, so usually alone

A quotation you like…

“And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us”

Why do you run?

I run for me. I am not out there to be the fastest but to be pleased with my performance and helping others. I find running therapeutic and use the time to think.

Describe your best marathon memory.

I received a phone call when I was at mile 22, and I picked up the phone and had a conversation about whether I needed the vacuum cleaner that someone just found at the garage sale or not. . .

Why do you pace?

I love to see the joy of running in others, to be there to help them reach their goals, and to encourage everyone along the way.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I paced one year with Luke Carl – he and I both brought the 2:15 pace group in right on time and in perfect “Rocker” fashion (long hair and wild pants)

Why should someone run in your pace group?

To reach their goal, and have a good time doing so J

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Practice your race day eating and drinking routine.
