Why do you run?


It helps me relax the rest of the day.  I can sit in general contentment after a hard effort and nothing rattles me.


Describe your best marathon memory.


Easy,   Boston Marathon hands down.  All the history and lore and Johnny Kelley stories and running past all the good looking gals at Wellesley College who come out to scream.  I should have run past Wellesley twice!


Why do you pace?


I want to inspire others to take on a sport with rich history and simple motivations and help others find that they too can contract Adult Onset Athletes Disease.


Why should someone run in your pace group?


I can find good humor in pain and suffering!  I believe I have a knack for telling funny short stories about


Any tips for runners about to join your group?


Come ready to have fun and not to worry about the discomfort of long distance running.


What philanthropic activities do you have?

I am involved with youth groups at a local church and active with its missions.
