What are you reading now?

People, Us Weekly, Running Times. ;)

Who do you train with?

I train alone a lot and with my pup Izzy.  On the weekends I always run with a big group of friends.

Personal goals

I would like to run a sub-3 marathon

A quotation you like…

"The miracle isn't that I finished, the miracle is that I had the courage to start."

Why do you run?

I started running after I lost my brother in a tragic car accident in 2009.  His tragic death gave me the courage I needed to pursue my passion and start running.  I run because I can.  I run for my brother and for all those that are not physically able to run.  www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Describe your best marathon memory.

My best marathon memory is from Boston 2012.  Nearly everyone was fading because of the extreme heat and I was contemplating joining them in their misery but at mile24 I passed a man with a prosthetic leg giving it everything he had.  I decided in that moment that if he could run a marathon with one leg I sure as heck could finish two miles with two good legs.  I dedicated the last two miles to my brother and finished strong in 3:22:00!

Why do you pace?

To give back to the running community that has given so much to me!  To inspire, share my story, and to watch others succeed in reaching their goals.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

My best pacing experience was helping two brothers achieve their goal of running sub-2 in the half marathon together.  Hearing here story was inspirational and helping them achieve their goal is something I will never forget.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because I am like the energizer bunny!  I just keep going, and going, and going!  I will keep you entertained the entire way.  I like to have fun and make sure everyone in my group is enjoying and embracing the moment.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Relax and have fun!

Anything else you’d like to share?

Running has truly saved my life and I just want to share this passion with those around me.
