A quotation you like…

Either I will find a way, or I will make one.

Why do you run?

I run for mental, physical, and spiritual fitness; I run to feel better about the world and my place in it.

Describe your best marathon memory.

I love everything about Boston Marathon weekend; the place, the people, the moment.

Why do you pace?

I have used pacers in the past, so I appreciate and understand their value to the running community and achieving personal goals. I enjoy the experience of helping others reach a goal and the opportunity to meet some amazing people along the way.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I cannot pick out one “best” experience, but almost every experience results in a Strava friend for life, an appreciative runner who I didn’t even realize my role in their day, and how amazing it is after a race for runners to come up and thank you for helping them reach their goals.  My response is always to thank them for the positive impact the group has had on my day and congratulate them on doing something amazing.  I just love the pacing experience, especially watching runners overcome fatigue and achieving a goal that they may have doubted for the last few miles.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

My pace group is energetic, fun, and will always get the spectators involved. As a pacer, I enjoy hyping the crowd up and getting the most energy as possible from them to help energize the pace group runners!

Any tips for runners about to join your group!?

Have some fun, relax, we will get to the finish line together; on time!
