Why do you run?
I run because I lost 2 of the most important women in my life to serious illness. I am thankful for my health and the ability to move without pain – at least most of the time ;) I also think it helps me keep a level head; gives me time to get away from all the noise of life and think things through. And talking to my friends without my kids interrupting isn’t a bad plus either. |

Describe your best marathon memory.
My fellow “5AM running buddy” joining me at mile 23 to help get me through 88 degrees in the Poconos! |

Why do you pace?
I have had many people meet where I am at and encourage me to accomplish whatever it was I had put my mind to. I feel that is a privilege to encourage someone to reach a goal. I would like to be able to support someone in the way that others have been there for me. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I consider myself a positive person and I enjoy conversation, which may or may not be a plus for you! |
