They all have their goods and bad, but Marine Corps. stands out as one of my favorites in the U.S., and the Istanbul Marathon was a great experience in Turkey!

Nothing of note…but I love a good story!

Who do you train with?

The voices in my head (who else is crazy enough to run in sub-freezing temperatures at 5 in the morning!

Personal goals

I’d love a 3:15 marathon, but that would mean more speed work! I also want to do another 50-miler. Ultras are a whole different experience!

Why do you run?


I run to clear my mind and get the crazy out!

Describe your best marathon memory.


Seeing my mom and family at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. I was not a runner growing up (in fact, I was such a slow runner that my nickname was the Jolly Jogger), so having them see me finish that race meant the world.

Why do you pace?


I want to help others to achieve their running goals—there’s a runner in all of us!

Tell us your best pacing experience.


Pacing a young soldier I was stationed with in Germany to her first half-marathon completion. She was coming off of a rough year and doubted her ability to finish, but dedicated training and heart got her across the finish line.

Why should someone run in your pace group?


We will not pass any opportunity to take up offers of candy along the course!

I’m excited to move away from chasing my own PRs and helping others to achieve their goals.
