Why do you run?
It’s fun, it’s relaxing, keeps me stress-free and I love being in good shape. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Running Philadelphia Marathon in 2000 and hitting the wall at mile 23. Few minutes later meeting my running angel, a 55 year old veteran that kept me going through the last few miles. His stories were inspiring and fun at the same time. I remember crossing the finish line and thinking “I made it!”…. thanks to him! |
Why do you pace?
I love helping others achieve their running goals. Everyone has an individual goal, and it feels great to be a part of making that goal happen. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
Last year pacing the 2:10 group at Go STL half marathon. I had several runners in my group who completed a half marathon for the first time and it was really exciting seeing how proud they felt of their accomplishment. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Because I can keep people motivated, and I can be inspiring and fun. Just like the person who helped me finish Philadelphia Marathon back in 2000. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Picture the finish line… it’s going to be an amazing accomplishment. You can do it!!! |
