A quotation you like… |
“If you don’t know where you’re going, you might not get there.” Yogi Berra |
Why do you run?
I must take advantage of the good running genes my dad passed on to me. (I got the good looks from my mom.) |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Eating the banana pudding and tortilla soup at the end of the Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon. |
Why do you pace?
I’m not very competitive and I like the challenge of keeping even splits. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
When I was in my best running shape, I paced a 4:00 group and didn’t feel terrible at the end. It shocked me to feel like that after a full Marathon. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
If someone want to cross the finish line at my time, with roughly even splits, then they should run in my pace group. If not, then at least I’m a good visual aide to see where you are in the race. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
It’s hard to run the same pace the whole run, so it’s ok if you have to speed up or slow down. And if you are running in my group, I’d love to chat! |
