Why do you run?

For wellbeing, mind clarity, sanity, to be outside and around other like-minded people, to set and achieve goals, because it feels awesome!

Describe your best marathon memory.

During one of my 100-milers, Eastern States, after crossing a shoulder deep creek I damaged my headlamp. Not realizing this till later I was forced to use my spare tiny dim light that wasn’t giving any illumination.  I ended up navigating through the dark woods in the mountains relying on my gutt, slipping, sliding and falling in ditches during thunder storm till next aide station in 20 miles. I realized that a big part of our success lies deep in our minds and that we can overcome adversities if digging deep within ourselves.

Why do you pace?

To inspire and help others achieve their running goals.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

To get you to finish line at goal pace, for mental support and to keep the experience fun

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Stick to your plan, embrace discomfort, when things get tough focus on one mile at a time, turn on the cruise control and remember what you came here for.
