Why do you run?

It’s what makes me happy.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Qualifying for Boston the first time.  I came across the finish line and knew I had finally made it.

Why do you pace?

I enjoy helping other people reach their goals.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

A friend of mine was desperately trying to break 4 hours, so I paced him for the Flying Pig.  He wanted to give up several times, but I kept pushing him.  When he finished, I’d never seen anyone so happy.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I keep the run fun and enjoy talking to everyone about nearly any subject.  I’ll  keep it fun and interesting for 26.2 miles.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Train hard, so when it comes to race day, there are no doubts in your mind.
