A quotation you like…

Luck is the last dying wish of those who wanna believe that winning can happen by accident, sweat on the other hand is for those who know it's a choice, so decide now because destiny waits for no man. And when your time comes and a thousand different voices are trying to tell you you're not ready for it, listen instead for that lone voice in dissent the one that says you are ready, you are prepared, it's all up to you now

Why do you run?

I’m hooked. I started to complete a goal of running Boston, and now I love it. It’s how I deal with stress, it’s how I  eat whatever I want, It’s how I meet new people, it’s just a whole lot of good and not much bad.

Describe your best marathon memory.

I was at mile 25 on pace to running my PR. I saw my pregnant wife, we had a moment where she looked at me like “holy hell you are going to do this” I looked over at the running clock and saw 2:38 was a realistic possibility and I thought I AM going to do this. I ran the final mile like all I had run so far was a 10k and crossed the finish happy beyond belief.

Why do you pace?

I love Marathons. I love PRs.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I paced someone to Sub 3 for the first time and just seeing that weight get lifted. The pressure they put on themselves and to finally pull it off.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I have more quotes in my head than a motivational calendar and I don’t shut up.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Every minute you run too fast in the first half will cost you 3 times that in the second half. Don’t let me pass you at mile 23.Stay with me now so you can pass me later.
