A quotation you like…

AND in the end, it’s not the years in a life, it’s the LIFE in the years.

Why do you run?

Great way to deal with life’s challenges.  Inspiration to my family with an excellent example of discipline and dedication.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Boston Marathon.  I felt that I was running down the middle of the SUPER BOWL stadium for 26 miles, 385 yards!!  The crowds were incredible!!!!!

Why do you pace?

A great opportunity to give back to a sport that has provided so much to me.  Great way to meet new running friends and work together in reaching their goals!

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Pacing friends to their Boston qualifying times!!

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Enjoy a TEAM environment that is full of ENERGY working toward the same goal!!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Your training is complete.  There is absolutely nothing that you can do in the last week to help your race.  However, over-training and lack of proper diet and hydration during the last week can wreck your hard work!!

Anything else you’d like to share?

Take advantage of your recovery days.  Make your speed days count!!  Enjoy your running. It is a great way of life.
