Why do you run?

Running is a lifestyle. It has brought me so many amazing friends, memories, experiences, my career and has shaped and strengthened my mentality, mentally and physically.

Describe your best marathon memory.

There are two: #1 was qualifying for the Olympic Trials Marathon at the Chevron Houston Marathon on January 20, 2019 and breaking my time by 3-minutes, 30 seconds! #2 was winning the Napa Valley Marathon and winning 60 bottles of wine + a 3Liter bottle and becoming the RRCA Western Regional Champion!

Why do you pace?

I love helping others achieve their goals. I am a coach by career, I enjoy being around the running scene and I love the camaraderie of running with others!

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Two weeks ago I paced my friend and athlete who I coach to their 5K PR’’s! I ran one of them in to a 19:45 and turned around a ran the other in to a 20:28!

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I will pace them to their desired pace, while keeping them positive and informed on how they are doing. I will aim to make the experience enjoyable and maintainable!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Stay with me, relax and push through the pain. You’ve worked hard for this and now it’s time to showcase your efforts!

Anything else you’d like to share?

I am really excited to pace this race and help as many people as possible to achieve their goal!

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I coach around 30 athletes and lead a running group 1-2 times per week. I host running workshops and presentations at Tea and Tea in Winter Park almost every month!
