A quotation you like…

Experience and execution trump knowledge any day of the week

Why do you run?

Because if I didn’t, I’d be bored

Describe your best marathon memory.

Completing the 12th marathon in as many days all under 4 hours and realizing how much of running is just that… running.

Why do you pace?

It’s a chance to meet some new people and knowing the time removes all the stress

Tell us your best pacing experience.

At the Woodlands Marathon with Chris Lambert and coming in right on the money at 3:45 with a nice sized group.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I’ll keep talking to distract you from the miles

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Stop thinking and just run. That and Vaseline is a very useful tool.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I definitely understand what it’s like to be tired and at the end of the rope during a race and how to keep going.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I volunteer with Girls on the Run and volunteer time to teach falls prevention at a local independent living center.
