My most recent half in which I didn't race much this yr to train specifically for the Battlefield half and approaching the finish line with the crowd screaming and seeing my time 2:30 less than what I was anticipating

Why do you pace?

 

Have only paced once privately but its a way of enjoying the race atmosphere without the rigors of “racing” the course

Why should someone run in your pace group?

 

I love to talk while running and if I have a group who likes to interract then we can feed off each others energy and excitement plus get our minds off the task at hand

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

 

Slower pace up the hills make up for it on the downside, equal effort
