A quotation you like…

"there can be no progress without struggle"

Why do you run?

To influence positive change within everyone I encounter. And for the "carbs"

Describe your best marathon memory.

The Chicago marathon holds a special place in my heart. I became a Cubs fan while there. I was also able to reunite a homeless man with his family. We actually stayed with his sister, mother, brother, and nieces all in one giant home. They still to this day make me feel like I’m a favorite cousin.

Why do you pace?

Pacing helps me connect with Runners from all walks of life. I'd like to think a bond is created when people run together. Memories are shared and made between them.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Pacing my hometown marathon in 2019 was an amazing experience! I'm very involved in the local running community. Seeing my peers on the course running, cheering made the experience somewhat surreal. My group finished with about 70% of who began with us.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Running with me is gonna be filled with talks of sitcoms and food....and the occasional mention of running

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Tips? Hydrate and be ready to laugh and enjoy the journey. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. No matter the subject, I'll attempt to find the answer. I enjoy being a resource for new runners, and learning from all types of runners. I’m a USATF Level 2 Coach, so sometimes it’s hard for me to take that Coaching hat off.
