Describe your best marathon memory.
I was one of the faster marathoners in a particular race, and I was feeling good. But, then I hit around mile 20 and started cramping very bad. As I started limping around in total agony, a slow half marathoner caught up to me. She was nice enough to pull out some anti-cramp cream and gave it to me. I was able to finish that race because of someone much slower running half the distance I was. It shows that anyone can be a hero to anyone else! |

Why do you pace?
I feel I have a gift. And I would like to use that to help others achieve their goals. I’ve been helped out by numerous pacers in various ways in the past. I want to be able to give back to the universe. |

Tell us your best pacing experience.
Cheyenne Marathon. I grew up in Wyoming, so it was fun to run around my hometown years after I left. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?

To get a great time and maybe share some good conversation. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Nothing new on race day. Drink a lot of water. Bring extra salt packets; you never know who may need some! |
