Why do you run?

I run, because in that moment I feel free of everything else. I find a big joy in pushing myself out of my comfort zone, testing my limits, and discovering what I'm truly capable of. With each step, I leave behind the stress, the doubts, and the noise of the world.

The rhythm of my breath, the pounding of my heart, and the steady cadence of my feet hitting the ground become a kind of meditation. It's just me, the road, and the endless possibilities ahead. In those moments, I feel strong, alive, and in control of my destiny. I run not just to reach a destination, but to remind myself of the power within me, the resilience I carry, and the unbreakable spirit that drives me forward. Running is my escape, my therapy, my celebration of life, and in every stride, I find a little more of myself.

Describe your best marathon memory.

There are so many, but I always love how cheerful my spirit can lift others while runing in hard moments and they say thank you for doing it. Love pacing and helping – those races were I am able to pace brings great memories.

Why do you pace?

I pace marathons because it allows me to give back to the running community in a meaningful way. Marathons are a journey, both physically and mentally, and pacing provides an opportunity to help others achieve their goals while sharing in that journey. There’s something incredibly rewarding about being part of someone’s marathon experience, knowing that you’re helping them push through their limits, stay focused, and cross that finish line.

Pacing is more than just maintaining a steady speed; it’s about encouragement, motivation, and being a reliable guide. I love the challenge of staying consistent while also being attuned to the needs of the runners around me. Whether it's offering a few words of encouragement, sharing a strategy to tackle a tough hill, or simply being a calm presence in the later, more grueling miles, I’m there to support them.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

One of my best pacing experiences was in the UK and was likely unforgettable because of the people. There’s something special about the way runners there connect with each other—they’re so open to the experience, willing to receive help, and eager to share their life stories and moments, even in the midst of a grueling marathon. People were chatting, exchanging stories, and even cracking jokes to calm the pre-race nerves. It felt more like a collective adventure than just a race.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Running in my pace group is about more than just hitting a specific time goal - it's about having a supportive, positive experience from start to finish. My pace group offers a consistent, steady pace with a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. I’m committed to helping you achieve your race goals while making the experience enjoyable. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or just want to finish strong, I’ll be there every step of the way, offering guidance, motivation, and a positive, team-focused environment to keep you going.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

If you're joining my pace group, focus on starting conservatively, sticking with the group to avoid going out too fast. Trust the pacing, communicate if you need anything, and stay mindful of your hydration and energy levels. Relax, enjoy the experience, and let me guide you to your goal!

Anything else you’d like to share?

I’d just like to share that running is as much about the journey as it is about the finish line. Embrace the experience, celebrate each milestone, and remember that every step forward is a victory. My goal is to support and inspire you, so let’s enjoy the race together, support each other, and make some great memories along the way.
