Who do you train with?

right now, i’m that lady with a jogging stroller and two dogs, filling up the sidewalk... my husband occasionally joins us as well

Personal goals

stretch regularly, run an ultra, an Ironman, and a marathon in every state at least once

Why do you run?

 

i run not only for physical but mental health, to push myself and see how truly amazing the body is when you treat it well

Describe your best marathon memory.

 

the first time i qualified for Boston! I was at mile 24 of the Harrisburg Marathon...and i thought to myself, even if i stopped, tripped, broke my arm, and had to walk from here, I’d still qualify.... that was a great feeling knowing i not only accomplished my goal but i PRed by 17 minutes... a true runner’s high!

Why do you pace?

 

I want to help people with achieving their goals, aid in making amazing memories, and help grow the love for the sport through my spirit for running

Accompanying my best friend, Jess, across the finish line of her very 1st marathon... we were both in tears, truly overwhelmed by the moment

Why should someone run in your pace group?

 

to meet their goal, learn a few tricks from my experiences, and cultivate their love for running

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

 

It won’t be easy every step of the way, but it will be worth it!

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I volunteer with Girls On The Run & aid medical support during races as part of Race Guards, I also am very active with the military and the spouses of military members.
