Describe your best marathon memory.
Finishing my first Boston Qualifying time after 2 tries. Pacing my friend to his Boston Qualifier at the Snickers Marathon in 2009 on his 7th attempt. |
Why do you pace?
Because I have used pacers and it is great not to have to worry about the pace. All you have to do is keep up. It’s a great way to help others. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
Helping my friend to his Boston Qualifying time in 2009. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Because no one has more fun in a marathon than me. I love to talk, run and encourage success. It’s all about believing in yourself. Sometimes you need to be told you can do it. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Let’s have some fun. |
Anything else you’d like to share? |
Being a pacer is a big responsibility that needs to be taken very seriously. I love to run and will do everything I can to make sure we come in on time.
