Describe your best marathon memory.
I ran a trail 50k last year, and made friends along the way with a few people (a lady named Fiona and a guy named Pete). We ran together and chatted for several miles, and then eventually spread out. Later on at the finish line, Fiona was waiting to cheer for me (she had finished first), and then we both waited to cheer for Pete. It is this type of camaraderie that makes running races special and memorable. |
Why do you pace?
I really enjoy the idea of learning about the other runners in my group and helping make a space for people to achieve their marathon goals. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?
It’s good to have a group of familiar people for later in the race when the going gets tough! |
