A quotation you like…

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.”

Why do you run?

I love being able to compete against myself every day! I’ve had a couple of people that have shared their knowledge and passion for running with me and that has grown my love for running.  The more I learn about running and the more that I do it, the more I love it!

Describe your best marathon memory.

My friend Carter helped pace me to a Boston Qualifying time of sub 3:00 in my first marathon.  It was incredibly hard, but completing that marathon was awesome!

Why do you pace?

I love being able to help people reach their goals! I know how much work people put into training and I love to see all of that hard work pay off for them!

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I got to pace my fiancé for her half-marathon time trial and after pushing through a few hard miles she suddenly began to feel great and ended up crushing the last mile and getting a really solid time!

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Run in my group if you want to achieve your goals and have fun while you do it! You’ve put in the work, so let me take care of the pacing, so that all you have to do is run!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Don’t start off too quick! So many people make the mistake of going out too hard and they end up falling off near the end.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Do your best to train specifically for the course you are going to be racing on.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I help out the head coach at my old high school whenever I am in town. I also make training plans for many of my friends that want to start running or want to train for an upcoming event.
