Why do you run?

Running brings balance to my life and all throughout these years it has brought me amazing friendships.

Describe your best marathon memory.

NY Marathon. Running NY is an experience like no other. You are running with 50K of your best friends and the noise can be overwhelming at times. But it certainly has to be on every runner’s bucket list of races.

Why do you pace?

I want to give back to the running community what it has given me. Finishing your first or tenth or fifty marathons is a huge accomplishment and I feel truly blessed to be part of someone’s experience.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

My first time pacing was an unforgettable experience. I ran with a man who had done 7 marathons in 7 continents in 7 days. Another young man who did his training runs on a treadmill on a navy ship. A father who was going to be an empty nester as his youngest was starting college. Everyone has their own unique story.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I will be there with you celebrating and supporting each mile accomplished. I will keep you on pace so you don’t have to worry about the time so you can focus on your run.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Enjoy the experience. Soak it all in. Running a marathon is a challenge and you will struggle at one point or another. Stay positive. Your training will push you through.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I love traveling so if you have a unique place you have visited, let me know.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I run with Marathon High, a non profit who trains high school run their first half-marathon. These teenagers who are ready to run at 8am on Saturdays are so driven and an inspiration to me.
