I was running the 2011 Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon, and at mile 13, I realized that I had it in me to qualify for Boston. The miles flew by, one step after the other, and I did it. It felt Great! |

Why do you pace?
|
I like to encourage runners to meet their goal. I am holding a sign, that will motivate some runners to stay in-front of the sign, some to stay right by the sign, and others to catch up to the sign. It’s all about the motivation and encouragement. |

Just last week I ran the Fox Valley Marathon, and I was there to help encourage a fellow runner to meet her goal of getting into Boston. That was awesome! |
