At mile 21 in the Pittsburgh Marathon when I realized that I was on my way to a new PR. I knew the course well and knew how long it would take me to finish. |

I like to meet people getting started in running and are doing their first race, or running further than they have before. |

Seeing some of my group waiting for me at the finish line because they had gone ahead and beaten their goals. |

Because it isn’t just a group of people running at the same speed, it’s more like a mobile party! |

Be prepared to be pushed. I like to see my running group finish faster than I do. |
